You should also take a lool at the Fugue icon set, which is contains more icon than FamFamFam and also provide the .psd for Photoshop.

I agree! I think there is two way of doing that, you can close to tray, or minimize to tray, or both... Outlook seems to only minimize to tray on user demand, and others like MSN Messenger is closing to tray, but not minimizing to tray...

Which one is the more "user friendly" ?

You should also catch the form closing event and check how the form was close, cancel it and send it to the tray instead!
