My HP tx1000 Laptop w/Broadcom 4328 wireless card on Fedora 8

First of all, read the lines.

  • The b43 driver is not working with the 4328 wireless Card. It was there, and I didn't read it, so I tried it, and it didn't work.
  • Second the only way to do it (that I know), is with the NDisWrapper.
  • Last, choose the EXACT driver for your network card, by downloading the Windows XP version of it on the website of your provider.

Now, my reference,

  • The x64 version of the Broadcom 4328 wireless card for my HP TX1218ca. I repackaged it, and it's downloadable here
  • A simple walkthru from Fedora Mobile (thanks guys)
    • Note that for the NDIS Wrapper to work the return of the -l (list) command should be "driver present, hardware present

 -f.
